We painted our world at the very beginning
With our brushes and our paints
With vibrant colors dull ones too
That are changing every day
One day not so long ago
Somebody tried again
To paint the earth a little better
Than how it was back then
But sadly that day as all stories go
Something bad occurred
They spilled all their paint and their trash and their sludge
Across our beautiful earth
So if you don't quite understand
Earth was better back then
So if we do it side by side
We’ll paint the earth again
